KOSTALEROS Feta cheese – 6 month barrel-aged 150g
Made by the Kostarelos family, from goats and sheep which graze freely around the island of Evia, and using a recipe and techniques that stretch back over 3 generations this hard feta cheese is entirely handmade. Careful ageing in beech barrels for 6 months gives this feta cheese a superior aroma and a sharp, deep taste. It’s simply a cheese larder classic.
Fabulous crumbled on a salad, but equally good on some toast with a liberal drizzle of BRINDISA North & South olive oil poured over it.
Pasteurized sheep’s milk (milk) and up to 30% pasteurised goat’s milk (milk)
